The AHAQ Inc is proud to announce our partnership with the Bank of Queensland in bringing you to the 2011 Bank of Queensland Arabian Challenge Show. Sue Baillie from BOQ Acacia Ridge and Steve Gorde from BOQ Beaudesert are excited to be part of Queensland's premier breed show to be held over the May day weekend at Toowoomba RASQ.

The Philippa Russell-Tyas Memorial Sashes are a feature saddle event at the Qld Arabian Challenge Show.
Consisting of two classes- one for Purebreds and one for Derivatives, the sashes are judged as an Open Hack. Horses are presented plaited – English or Rosettes, in a Double Bridle, the Rider in semi-formal English attire (no tails) Top hats may be worn. Hacking cane and spurs optional, no dressage whips.

The Allied Arabian Group was formed in mid 2007 to bring together the Arabian Horse Clubs of Queensland and Northern NSW to provide an opportunity for a collective effort to promote the Arabian horse to the wider horse owning public.
The objectives of the Allied Arabian Group are to:
- Promote the Arabian Horse to the general public
- Promote cooperation and camaraderie between Arabian Clubs
- Provide a united voice for all member clubs on common matters of concern

To have a horse in your life is a gift. In the matter of a few short years, a horse can teach a young girl courage, if she chooses to grab mane and hang on for dear life. Even the smallest of ponies is mightier than the tallest of girls. To conquer the fear of falling off, having one's toes crushed, or being publicly humiliated at a horse show is an admirable feat for any child. For that, we can be grateful.
